Trim URL addon for Open-Realty Have you wanted to
display a shorter URL for the agent website link? It is
now possible with this addon for Open-Realty. This addon is designed to
replace the tag {listing_agent_field_homepage} with {addon_trimurl_url}
in your listing template makiing it possible to display a much
shorter URL if the agents homepage field is too long to fit in
your display area.
Simply unzip the trimurl.zip file in the addons directory
and replace {listing_agent_field_homepage} with {addon_trimurl_url} wherever you
want the shorter url to appear in your listings.
Takes a LONG url like http://www.thewebsite.com/andthe/length/goes/onand/oneandon.html
and makes
http://www.thew...d/oneandon.html
Set the urlLength below to generate the total URL length 30
will split the URL into 2 15 character lengths with ... in the middle
